ROSALINE
Rosaline is a Peruvian restaurant on Melrose. Great vibes! Definitely recommend for a date or a group. I went to celebrate a birthday with my girlfriends. They have some crazy drinks, the Natural High had beets, egg whites, turmeric etc. Sounds funky but it was great. The service for the most part was good, although we ordered half of what the server recommended which was a great call. For four girls we got three apps and paella which was perfectly filling.
From the appetizer menu, the causita crocante is a must. Crispy potato balls with salted cod and mustard sauce. It sounds really odd but it was really amazing and different than anything Iād tried before. The fava bean salad and causa jar (eggplant terrine), not worth it IMO. GET THE SEAFOOD PAELLA! You will not be disappointed. Perfectly toasted rice, clams, tomatoes, seafood - YUM. The ceviche is also a hot commodity so next time I would order that too. Recommend!
